So, one of the things that I definitely learned while in Nashville is that ‘bigger is NOT always better’, especially when it comes to killer guitar tone!  I’m pretty certain that the ONLY time I witnessed a 4×12 half-stack on Broadway was when it was being lugged into a club by a starry-eyed guitarist on his first visit to NashVegas.  On the flip-side, the pros weren’t to tough to spot…they packed light and played often.

My buddy, Jeff, introduced me to Blackstar…more specifically, to their HT-5…it oozes with tone and packs a wallop of power into its seemingly ‘small’ 5amp frame.  I’m taking it on the road with 38 Acres the end of Sept., accompanied by my 2×12 Zinky cab.  CAN’T WAIT!!!
