Summary
In week three of our Foundation Red series we are reminded again to not think that God won’t lead us someplace we’d rather not be. Because He will do it; for His purpose.
It is easy to temp God. When Jesus was tempted by the Devil to test God, He told the Devil that it is wrong to test God. Is there any coincidence that the Devil would have us to do just that, and test God? How many times have you tested God? Testing is easy. Trusting is difficult.
If you are walking with God and experiencing his trustworthiness, in this moment or the next, then write down the moments when you see God being trustworthy. If you have them written down, you can go back at anytime and read about God’s trustworthiness. That is the Bible. A collection of moments that were written down for us to go back anytime, and read of God’s trustworthiness. Open it. Read it. No, healing is not always going to come. Suffering will not always cease. (Even Jesus suffered!) Yet when we look at the trustworthiness of God, we see God will ALWAYS remain worthy of trust.
