You Say Church – Week Four

June 5, 2016

Summary

Who are you all about?  Are you all about yourself?  Are you all about your goals?  You want to achieve different things so that people look at you differently?  Perhaps so you can acquire different things?  Are you family driven?  Do you want others to accept you?  Are you about other gods or perhaps a concept of God?  In week four of our You Say Church series, David Parker shares that experience proves you will never be able to stand on our own.

If you say that you know the One True God, are you living life more abundant?  Are you living life as it was meant to be?  How can you tell?  Well, it calls for growing and going.  Can you name three people that you’re regularly talking about with God on their behalf?  Three people that you’re building a relationship with, you’re there for them when they call, you celebrate moments in their life that are worth celebrating, and you hold them in those moments when they’re broken.  If you can say yes then you’re going.  Not only that, but you are definitely growing too!  While you’re going, you really lean into the growing because you get into messy stuff!

When You Say, Church we say, COMMUNITY!
