Tambrala Shurman

Tambrala is a “Midwest girl” who moved to the Sedona area in 2013 to successfully create, own, and operate a bed & breakfast. Over the years, both the Verde Valley and SummitLIFE have become home to her and her children.

Tambrala has been a member of the SummitLIFE family and a music ministry volunteer since 2019. In January of 2023, she came on board as the Missions and Outreach Minister, a position that benefits from her outgoing personality, hospitality, and years of involvement in our Verde Valley communities.

Pre-Arizona jobs include 20 years in school psychology, six years as a Family & Youth Minister, and starting her own wedding consulting business. She is a proud graduate of Northern Illinois University, where she earned her master’s degree in school psychology.

Tambrala loves beach vacations with her sisters, planning get-togethers with family and friends, hiking with her pup, attending musicals with her daughter, and singing/dancing (admittedly with anyone, anywhere, any time).

Now that we’re meeting in person, we’re excited to see you as long as you feel healthy and are not at high risk for infection. Otherwise, please join us live online!

Masks are required. If you can’t wear a mask for some reason, please feel free to join us and do what you can to consistently maintain the social distancing guideline of 6 ft.

Also, we ask that you not congregate near the entrance and leave two seats between your group and any other groups seated in a row.

SummitLIFE is ALL ABOUT COMMUNITY, but the following things that are normally such an important part of our gatherings are TEMPORARILY suspended:

  • Hugs and Handshakes
  • Coffee and Snacks
  • Community Time (aka Meet and Greet)
  • KidsLIFE
  • Our cushioned chairs (Plastic sanitizes SO easily)

For those who prefer in-person giving, the Giving Bucket and envelopes will be available. It’s BYOP (Bring Your Own Pen)!

We’ve missed our SummitLIFE community and our guests. WELCOME BACK!
