Staff and Leadership
Shortly after relocating to Sedona in 2014, Wendy and her husband Don arrived at SummitLIFE and knew they had found their tribe. Since then, Wendy has served in several areas of ministry.
January 2018, she came on staff full time as the Business & Marketing Administrator. After planting pastor David Parker’s announcement that he and his family would be moving from Sedona, Wendy and Don followed God’s call to pastor the community of SummitLIFE.
Pre-Arizona, Wendy was actively involved for more than 10 years in various areas of ministry at Crossroads Christian Church in Evansville, IN, and women’s ministry with various organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication, with a minor in writing from the University of Evansville in Indiana.
Wendy has never met a pair of shoes she didn’t like; loves to travel; and enjoys hiking, Jeeping, and fitness.
Don relocated to Sedona with his wife Wendy in 2014 to follow their long-planned dream to live among the red rocks. God led them to SummitLIFE the Spring of 2015, where Don began to serve in numerous areas of ministry.
When planting pastor David Parker announced he and his family would be moving on from Sedona the Spring of 2018, Don and Wendy felt called to lead the community of SummitLIFE into the future.
Before moving to Arizona, Don was actively involved for more than 10 years in various areas of ministry at Crossroads Christian Church in Evansville, IN. He holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management and an MBA from the University of Evansville in Indiana.
Don is an experienced IT guy in his other life. He’s also an Army veteran, avid hiker, amateur Jeep off-roader, and struggling golfer.
Scott and his wife Sue first joined the SummitLIFE family online in 2021. By March of 2022, God had worked things out for them to follow His call and relocate to the Sedona area, where they began to serve in numerous areas of ministry. March of 2023, Scott came on board as Assistant Pastor.
Before moving to Arizona, Scott was actively involved in ministry as the leader of a Christian men’s group and as the assistant pastor of Glory to Glory Christian Center in Aurora, Colorado. He holds a Christian bachelor’s degree from Primus University of Theology and has a love for Jesus that will bring a smile to your face. His passion is guiding people into a closer relationship with God.
Scott also enjoys hiking, fishing, and spending time with his family and fur babies.
Tambrala is a “Midwest girl” who moved to the Sedona area in 2013 to successfully create, own, and operate a bed & breakfast. Over the years, both the Verde Valley and SummitLIFE have become home to her and her children.
Tambrala has been a member of the SummitLIFE family and a music ministry volunteer since 2019. In January of 2023, she came on board as the Missions and Outreach Minister, a position that benefits from her outgoing personality, hospitality, and years of involvement in our Verde Valley communities.
Pre-Arizona jobs include 20 years in school psychology, six years as a Family & Youth Minister, and starting her own wedding consulting business. She is a proud graduate of Northern Illinois University, where she earned her master’s degree in school psychology.
Tambrala loves beach vacations with her sisters, planning get-togethers with family and friends, hiking with her pup, attending musicals with her daughter, and singing/dancing (admittedly with anyone, anywhere, any time).
