Staff and Leadership
David, his wife Michelle, and three children relocated to Sedona in 2012 to plant SummitLIFE. He began serving in church ministry while attending Ozark Christian College and has been serving full-time since 1997.
He’s a singer/songwriter/artist with a passion for music and creative communication. The lake, a hoppy beer, traveling, and time with family and friends are a few of his loves.
Don and his wife, Wendy, relocated to Sedona in 2014 to follow their long-planned dream to live among the red rocks. He joined the US Army right out of high school in 1982 and has worked in Information Technology for over 30 years. He has been called an “anomaly” for being an IT guy with a personality and the ability to see a bigger picture for an organization.
Don loves Arizona for all of its outdoor activities. He is an avid hiker and struggling golfer.
Wendy has been singing in church since childhood and serving in worship ministry since 1997. She holds a BS in Communication from the University of Evansville in Indiana.
Her idea of a good time includes some combination of music, fitness, travel, a red wine, and connecting with family and friends. Wendy has lived in Sedona with her husband Don since 2014.
Pete married his high school sweetheart Amanda in 2001. They enjoy spending time together with friends and family, being on the beach, camping, sitting around a fire, and cooking out. Pete is a full-time mechanic by day and a KidsLIFE pastor by night (and weekends).
Both Pete and Amanda have served within the church in various capacities since 2006, and have an extra drive and passion for children’s ministry. Pete was also a part of Leadership Development at North Point Church in Illinois for six years before moving his family, including four children and a dog, to Sedona to be a part of SummitLIFE.
Like her husband Pete, Amanda married her high school sweetheart in 2001. They enjoy spending time together with friends and family, being on the beach, camping, sitting around a fire, and cooking out.
Amanda serves as a secretary at West Sedona School, as well as a KidsLIFE pastor, with Pete, at SummitLIFE. They served many years in various capacities at North Point Church in Illinois, where they discovered their passion for children’s ministry. Amanda was on staff at North Point Church for four years before making the move to Sedona with Pete, their four children, their dog Lambo, and Amanda’s numerous Packers jerseys.
Matthew and his wife Ronda reside in Sedona along with their two amazing children Robby and Lydia (they call her Cruz).
Matthew received his Certificate of Biblical Knowledge from Central Christian College of the Bible in 2016 and sought out opportunities to serve in worship and student ministries. He came on staff full-time with SummitLIFE in January of 2017. His favorite pastimes do not include long walks anywhere…but he does enjoy time with close friends and family, playing games, and music!
